Strangers to friends.

We started out as strangers,
each occupied by our own thought and interest,
except for a name and a smile,
we know nothing more.
But our smiles brought us together
until we realized that
we became close to each other.
We shared everything,
from jokes to problems to secrets.
Though continually drawn apart
by our homeworks, activities and various responsibilities in life,
we often had the time to see one another..
I could not give much
although I have received.
I could not share much
although I have listened.
I might not be the best for you
although I have tried..
