How we deal with life is really a matter of personal choice. So choose to be happy. Find joy in the simplest things and see beauty in each person you meet. When times are difficult, remind yourself that no pain comes to you without a purpose.
Don't hold on because you think there will be no one else.. There will ALWAYS be someone else.. You've got to believe you're worth more than being repeatedly hurt by someone who doesn't really care.. Always believe that someone will see what you're really worth.. and.. treat the way you should be treated..
Someday, we'll forget the pains, who caused the tears and why we cried.. We would finally realize that the secret of being free is not revenge but letting things unfold in their own ways and that life is simply a blank book. After all, what matters is not the first but the last chapter which shows how well we ran the race. So smile, laugh, forgive, believe and love over and over again. Keep dreaming, keep loving.
If you are trying to show off for people at the top, forget it They will look down on you anyhow. And if you are trying to show off for people at the bottom, forget it. They will only envy you. Status will only get you nowhere. Only an open heart will allow you to float equally between everyone.
We can pretend to be brave to conceal our fears.. We can pretend to be smart to conceal our insecurities.. We can pretend to be strong to conceal our weaknesses.. We can pretend to be happy to conceal our longings.. But no matter how much we pretend to conceal our negativities, we will always be pierced by reality.. Maybe that's what life is all about. Reality bites but we can never bite it back.
Don't give up if you still want to try. Don't wipe your tears if you still want to cry. Don't settle for an answer if you still want to know. And.. Don't say you don't like him if you won't let him go.
The strength of character is not just calculated by how well we manage to carry some sizable load under challenging conditions, but is perhaps better measured by our ability to remain kind and light-spirited, even when we're sure that we can't bear the weight of one more ounce of life.
Love for the sake of love without expecting anything in return? Ideal.. But can we really expect ourselves to feel this way? Act? Yes. But feel? Maybe not. I believe love is giving a big part of yourself, and in the process, you find yourself needing some of it back..
